Aakash Tablet that was launched by union minister Kapil Sibal is now available for booking on the website aakashdatawind.com . The tablet is manufactured by DataWind of UK for the Indian Government. Indian government will provide 50% subsidy to students. Aakash was initially released only for students and is supposed to be available to general publick from Nov 2011. I came across the above mentioned website which has a booking form. I just booked my Aakash Tablet and got a message that they will contact me shortly, I’m waiting. How many times were you in a situation where you had to submit your email address unwillingly just to visit that one page or receive that one document. You were 99.99% sure that you are not going to visit that site again, but you still didn’t had any option but to give your email id. You knew this could end up in spam mails, but what to do.
