With the more than satisfactory experience of owning a Lenovo A369i for the past couple of months, I just ordered a new phone from Lenovo, the Lenovo A536. Watch out for the unboxing and review videos and article. I should receive the phone in next two days.
Lenovo A369i has been performing really well inspite of just 512mb ram and a dual core processor. On many ocassions for day to day use, I felt it’s performance and usage was smoother than my Moto E. The only issue was the poor display and camera, infact these are not issues for me as this phone is not my primary phone(btw, my primary phone is still a Symbian, Nokia 808).
Lenovo A536 is launched by Lenovo around 10 days back and looking at the specs it seems to be very promising at the price. It costs Rs.8500/- and has some decent and not so decent specs. The decent specs are a 5 inch display, 5MP rear camera with auto focus and flash, 2MP front camera, 1.3GHz Quad Core Processor, 1GB Ram, KitKat out of the box and a 2000 mAh battery. The not so decent specs, well, ugly spec is the display. For a 5 inch display, the resolution is only 480×854 pixels which gives it a pixel density of around 196 ppi. Added to that its a TN display and supports only 2 point touch.
Nevertheless, at Rs.8500/- I still though this to be a decent buy and ordered it. So lets wait for two more days to see how the experience unfolds. Will keep you posted.
