You can order HP Cartridges online and the cartridge will be door delivered in 6 to 8 hours. All HP printers come with a sticker which has a phone number and a website for ordering cartridges. Most of us ignore it because many products come with such stickers but the service is usually not satisfactory.

To give it a try, I went to the online ordering website but the online selection did not include my printer(Deskjet F2488). Though I could select the HP 818 cartridge manuall, I called the dial a cartridge number 1800 425 4999. It took a little over 2 minutes to complete the order. I made the call at 10:30am and got the cartridge door delivered by 5:30pm. Thats cool.

They sell at MRP. The 818 black cartridge costed me Rs.799/-. We may get the cartridge for a little lower price outside  but the service is really handy as this saves time and effort especially when you have to go out only to buy a cartridge, imagine the time it takes in todays traffic, parking and finding an outlet that has your model in stock. Apart from saving time and effort, we can be sure that we are buying a original cartridge.

The cartridge is delivered by a local pc store. Once the order is placed, HP routes the delivery through their partners. The 6 to 8 hour delivery is not available for all locations, but should be available in most towns and cities. Some of the rules told to me at the time of order are 1. It will be delivered within 6 hours and the delivery working hours start from 11:00am. 2. Only cash payment. 3. The delivery person will not install the cartridge.

Using this service, we not only get peace of mind, but also better utilize our time for more productive things. What do you say?
