Renault India is about to launch its much awaited Duster in India very soon, as early as in next 10 days. Earlier mails from prospective customers to Renault India enquiring about the Duster used to get vague replies got a vague replies. Now finally Renault is ready for the big launch and they started sending mails with the subject “Welcome to the world of Big, Beautiful, Efficient Renault Duster”. The mail is embedded with the Dusters prelaunch advertisement video(below).

It’s Big, it’s Beautiful, it’s Efficient and it’s coming soon.

There is lot of anticipation on the Duster and there are many people who have postponed their purchase plans for the Dusters launch. Duster is based on a monocoque chassis unlike other SUVs currently available in India. This should give Duster an edge in handling and the drive should be car like. Duster is built on logan platform and shares the engines but with a different state of tune. This could be a winner if the pricing is right.

What is your opinion on the Duster.

Renaults reply two months back when I enquired about the launch of Duster: “Thanks for writing to Renault India Customer Care, as of now we have three products available that is Fluence, Koleos and Renault Pulse. Kindly request you let us know which product test drive you are looking out for so that the same details will be sent to the nearest dealer they will get in touch with you at the earliest.”
